A CD-ROM containing information on contracts and tenders throughout the EU and further afield covering public works, supplies and services. This CD-ROM series is produced two or five times weekly and contains a wide variety of business opportunities.

The CD-ROM is easy to use on any PC using Windows and Abacus provides support to its annual subscribers. The CDs are also compatible with Linux and Macintosh systems.

This CD-ROM series is produced monthly on a cumulative basis and contains all the legislative acts and regulations whose publication is obligatory under the EC Treaties including EU Directives, EU Regulations, minutes of parliamentary meetings, etc.

The CD-ROMs are easy to use on any PC using Windows, and Abacus provides support to its annual subscribers. The CDs are also compatible with Macintosh systems.

The Comext CD-ROM provides data on goods imported into or exported from the European Union or traded between the Member States. The Comext CD-ROM contains annual data for the latest year plus monthly data for the last several months. Updated CD-ROMs are issued approximately monthly. Individual copies may be ordered if an annual subscription is not required.

A table indicates the periods for which figures are available for each country. Approximately 10,000 products are classified using the harmonised system (HS) and in addition to individual country data a number of aggregates are also available, e.g. world, Intra-EU, Extra-EU, etc.

The ECICS CD-ROM contains some 35,000 chemical names together with their tariff classification in the European Community’s combined nomenclature, i.e. eight-digit classification codes.

Each product listed in ECICS is described on the Harmonised Commodity Description System and under the Chemical Abstracts Service Registry (CAS) - a system used the world over to identify all chemical products.
